The customer wants to build a pouch cell supercapacitor production line.

A supercapacitor is mainly composed of anode and cathode electrodes, an electrolyte solution, a separator and a current collector, where the separator immersed in the electrolyte keeps the anode and cathode electrodes separated. Supercapacitors store energy based on the charge-discharge process at the electrode/electrolyte interface. Its energy storage principle is the same as that of traditional capacitors, but it is more suitable for rapid release and storage of energy. Compared with traditional capacitors, supercapacitors have a larger effective surface area, which can increase their capacitance by 10,000 times compared with traditional capacitors, while maintaining low equivalent series internal resistance and high specific power.
