Supercapacitor refers to a new type of energy storage device between traditional capacitors and rechargeable batteries. It has both the characteristics of fast charging and discharging of capacitors and the energy storage characteristics of batteries. Since the adsorption and desorption speed of ions in a supercapacitor does not change much at low temperatures, its capacity change is much smaller than that of a battery.
