Automatic Hot-Press Forming Machine For Li-ion Pouch Cell SEI Formation

Battery formation is a very critical process to improve the electrical performance of lithium batteries. It is a process of activating a primary battery to activate an active material inside the battery by applying an appropriate low current to both ends of the electrode.
The hot-press formation of the lithium ion pouch cell can remove the baking process of the existing battery formation process, shorten the formation time, reduce the battery manufacturing cycle,  which is more conducive to the battery being flat after the gas-sealing.

When a lithium battery enters the forming process, a plurality of lithium batteries are generally loaded into a pressurizing jig at the same time and are formed using the same peripheral environment, which limits the need for uniform battery specifications for mass production.
