Lithium ion Pouch Cell Electrolyte Filling Process

After the battery cells drying process is completed, The next step is electrolyte filling process and primary sealing process. Through the introduction of the previous article, we know that the battery cells after completing the top sealing and side sealing, there is only one side(gasbag side ) opening. This side is for the electrolyte infusion. The pre-sealing, also known as primary sealing, is required immediately after the electrolyte injection. After the primary sealing, the inside of the battery cells is completely isolated from the external environment. The encapsulation principle of the primary sealing is the same as the top and side sealing, which will not be described here.
