Coin Cell Process Research from TOB New Energy

The research of coin cell technology mainly includes paste formulation, electrode making, coin cell assembly and coin cell sealing.

1. Paste formulation:Mix a certain proportion of the active material conductive agent and the binder into the mixer and mixing according to a certain process specification.

2. Electrode making:The manufacturing process of the pole piece has a great influence on the performance of the battery. The basic process is

①coating:use coating machine to uniformly coat the slurry on the current collector

②Baking:put the pole pieces in an oven at a certain temperature to remove the water or NMP

③Pressing:put the electrode after baking at the pressing machine to press it

④Punching:use punching machine to make the electrode to a small round

3. Battery assembly process:Place in the order of cathode, separator, spring, and spacer,and then filling the electrolyte in a glove box filled with inert gas.Then cover the anode case.

4. Sealing:Using the coin cell sealing machine sealing the coin cell.
