The purpose of electrode roll pressing is as follows:

1)Ensure that the surface of the electrode is smooth,and prevent burrs on the coating surface from puncturing the separator to cause short circuit.

2)Compact the coating material of the electrode and reduce the volume of the electrode to increase the energy density of the battery;

3)Make the active material and conductive agent particles contact more closely and improve the electronic conductivity;

4)Strengthen the bonding strength of the coating material and the current collector, reduce the occurrence of powder falling in the battery electrode during the cycle, and improve the cycle life and safety performance of the battery.

There are many influencing factors in the production process of lithium-ion batteries. After solving the process problems that may occur in each process, it will directly reduce the waste of production materials and improve the quality and efficiency of subsequent assembly, injection, packaging and other processes.
