Product Overview


The TOB-GB1220-N-S glove box is a single-station, specifically designed for solid-state battery research and sulfide-based lithium-sulfur battery material systems, where strict environmental control and toxic gas management are essential.
The system integrates a single-column purification unit, PLC control with touchscreen interface, vacuum system, and a dedicated hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) removal device, forming a fully enclosed inert atmosphere workspace. The enclosure features an inclined operating surface and a removable safety glass front window, ensuring ergonomic operation and safety.
Under standard conditions (20°C, 1 atm, 99.999% inert gas), the system maintains ultra-low moisture and oxygen levels (<1 ppm), providing a stable environment for highly sensitive materials.


Application Focus: Sulfide System & Solid-State Battery

Sulfide-based solid electrolytes are extremely sensitive to moisture and can release H₂S gas when exposed to air. This system is specifically engineered to address these challenges:

● Integrated H₂S removal unit connected to the main circulation pipeline

● Ultra-low H₂O/O₂ control (≤1 ppm capability)

● Fully sealed circulation system to prevent contamination

● Controlled material transfer via electromagnetic valve-driven antechambers

Glove Box Functional System

● Inert Gas Closed-Loop Circulation

The internal inert gas is continuously circulated through a purification system using a high-performance fan. During circulation, moisture and oxygen are continuously removed to maintain a stable ultra-clean environment.

● Automatic Regeneration System

The purification materials (molecular sieve and copper catalyst) can be regenerated. The regeneration process is fully controlled by the PLC system, ensuring consistent performance over time.

● Automatic Purging System

Atmosphere replacement inside the glove box is achieved through automatically controlled purge valves, ensuring rapid and efficient gas exchange.

● Pressure Control System

The internal pressure is automatically controlled by PLC. The working pressure can be freely set within ±15 mbar, and the system provides automatic protection when exceeding ±16 mbar.

● Vacuum Pump Control

The vacuum pump operates automatically based on system demand and can also be manually controlled.

Safety Notice (Critical for Sulfide Systems)

For sulfide material applications, strict safety procedures must be :

● The atmosphere must be properly purged before exposure
● Failure to do so may result in H₂S leakage, which is hazardous
● Regular inspection and replacement of H₂S adsorption materials is required
